Changing your DLP Bulb

Warning: Do not touch the lamp or housing directly with your fingers. Use a tissue or some other soft cloth like a clean tee shirt.

The basic steps to replacing a bulb are:

  • Turn off the machine and allow the lamp to cool completely
  • Unplug the electrical cord for the machine from the wall
  • Remove the cover
  • Unscrew the lamp housing unit
  • Remove the old lamp
  • Insert new lamp
  • Replace the lamp housing unit
  • Reinstall the cover
  • Plug the electrical cord back in
  • Turn on and enjoy!
