Panasonic 3D TV

Everything you need to find the right Panasonic 3D TV for your needs. Providing price comparisons as well as 3D information to assist you in making the right 3D television purchase.

When it comes to 3D technology Panasonic is fully vested and leading the field. Panasonic is working in all areas, providing 3D content by working with DirectTV and the movie studios to providing the full range of 3D hardware by producing TVs, cameras, Blu Ray players, etc. Panasonic can also lay claim to providing the first large screen 3D TV. Releasing a 152" 3D TV that, with it's 11 foot by 6 foot screen, can display full life size images in HD quality.

So how does all this translate into a solution for your living room or home theater? Panasonic provides all the hardware you will need, TVs, glasses, Blu Ray player therefore you can be sure all the items will work together. However several of the other manufactures, like Samsung, Sony and Mitsubishi, also can provide this. Quality wise, Panasonic is one of the leaders, especially when it comes to Plasma TVs which they continue to focus primary development on. A Panasonic 3D TV will likely cost a little more, especially if compared to other technologies such as LCD or DLP but if you are set on a Plasma TV this is definitely one worth looking at. If you are unsure of the right technology for you needs, see See Plasma vs LCD to determine which 3D TV technology is better for you.

3D TV Prices
Panasonic 3D TV prices are very fluid and often drop rapidly therefore it is important to do a price comparison prior to making your purchase to ensure you are getting the best value. See 3D TV Prices to compare prices across multiple TV suppliers and across different brands.

Do Not Forget The 3D TV Glasses
In order to watch 3D TV you will need 3D TV glasses, when considering glasses it is important to know that the glasses are not all the same. Although, of the three different technologies, all manufactures have standardized on using the active shutter glasses, the technology to synchronize the glasses to the TV has not been standardized. Therefore there is no guarantee that glasses from one manufacture will work with another manufactures TV. Your best bet is to buy 3D glasses manufactured by the same company as your TV. And yes, you will need glasses for anyone who wants to watch 3D TV. Without them the picture will appear fuzzy.

3D TV HDMI Cable Requirements
Unfortunately only version 1.4 HDMI cables will support 3D TV. This version was released in 2009, so it is likely that your current cables are version 1.3 meaning you will also need to upgrade your HDMI cables. However you only need to upgrade the cables that will be providing 3D content such as between your 3D Blu Ray player and your TV.
